You will then drive through the old Brunei and old Malaysian border posts, and onto the current Malaysian border post (there is about 2k's between the Brunei/Malaysian border posts).
Between the Brunei and Malaysian border posts there is a Duty Free shop and an Optician in one block of shops. On the opposite side of the road is a simple outdoor eatery where you can also purchase beer.
Your passport will be stamped at Immigration. After this window is Customs.
On your first visit, take your blue card and get the Malaysian car passport. Complete and get stamped. This is also valid for three months.
It is important to have a Malaysian car passport in case you have an accident. If you don't have a car passport you will not be covered.
NOTE: This pass MUST have the DRIVER's NAME on it. If you have multiple drivers for your vehicle you will need to get multiple versions of this pass. A permission letter and relationship does not apply -- it must be the DRIVER's NAME. (Not the owners)

On your way towards Miri you will encounter the ASEAN toll
bridge (BND$5 or RM10 for a car). Obviously Malaysian Ringitt gives you a better exchange rate.
